The blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner at home, followed by a hands-on skills session with a certified AHA instructor.

The 1 hour skills session is taken once the AHA online portion is completed.

 

A textbook is NOT required for this course. 

 

We ONLY accept American Heart Association (AHA) Heartcode certificate.

 

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Initial Course (ACLS) - Initial

The ACLS Inital training are for students who is taking ACLS for the first time, or expired. 

Inital students will complete their 60mint. exam on another day of your their choice, within 14 days from their course date. 

Please bring a laptop or tablet to class if you plan to purchase the e-Book.

ACLS Instructor Course Requirements

  • You MUST be proficient in all the skills ACLS, including EKG
  • Be proficient in the skills of BLS and ACLS algorithms. 
  • Have current AHA provider status in the discipline of the Instructor Course and be proficient in all the skills of BLS/ACLS.
  • Complete the American Heart Association ACLS Instructor Essential 
  • Current 2020 AHA Instructor Manual and DVD
  • Complete the discipline-specific classroom Instructor Course and paperwork.
  • Successfully be monitored teaching your first course and pass a site visitation.  The site visit will consist of verifying your equipment and training location. Both tasks MUST be completed within six months after completing the Instructor Course.

The renewal training is only eligible to students who have an active ACLS certification from American Heart. 
If your card is NOT AHA or expired, you must sign up for the initial training.

BLS Instructor Course Requirements

  • Have current AHA provider status in the discipline of the Instructor Course, and be proficient in all the skills of BLS/Heartsaver CPR.
  • Complete the American Heart Association BLS Instructor Essential 
  • Current 2020 AHA Instructor Manual and DVD
  • Complete the discipline-specific classroom Instructor Course and paperwork.
  • Successfully be monitored teaching your first course and pass a site visitation.  The site visit will consist of verifying your equipment and training location. Both tasks MUST be completed within six months after completing the Instructor Course.
  • Public Space for training is required. Roxell EMT does not approve residential home training. 
 
 
 
 

Students will meet every Wednesday from 900am to 400pm. Attendance on one Tuesday and one Thursday is required throughout the course.

Virtual ENPC Class Via Zoom 

To become an ENPC instructor, you must have the following:

  1. Active ENPC Provider Card
  2. Copy of your current RN license
  3. A score of at least 90% on your last ENPC 6th edition online exam. 
  4. A score of at least 90% on the psychomotor skill state exam 
  5. Instructor Potential Recommendation from your previous ENPC course instructor
  6. Online exam scores and psychomotor skills must be within 180 days of the ENPC Provider Course. If more than 180 days from your previous ENPC course date, you MUST complete and pass the online exam and psychomotor skills with a score of 90% no later than seven (7)  business days before the ENPC instructor course date. A fee is associated.

Heartsaver Instructor Course Requirements

  • Have current AHA provider status in the discipline of the Instructor Course, and be proficient in all the skills of Heartsaver CPR
  • Complete the American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor Essential 
  • Current 2020 AHA Instructor Manual and DVD
  • Successfully complete the discipline-specific classroom Instructor Course and paperwork
  • Successfully be monitored teaching your first course and pass a site-visitation.  The site visit will consist of veryfing your equipment and training location. Both task MUST be completed within six months after completing the Instructor Course.

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to the care of the newborn at birth. It facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns during delivery.

Steps to Complete the NRP Provider Course 

  1. If this material is new or unfamiliar, the new 8th edition Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation is the most valuable resource to prepare for the online exam and the classroom portion of the course. 
  2. Complete all the online part one of the program, including the Online Learning Assessment (Adaptive eLearning) and the Advanced Exam (35 questions). Then, click "yes" below if you need to add NRP part one to your registration.  
  3. You will need to register for an ADVANCED instructor-led event that offers the opportunity to practice/review advanced resuscitation skills and participate in simulation/debriefing sessions.

PHTLS Refresher Course

8-hour classroom course for individuals who have successfully completed the 16-hour PHTLS provider course within the past four years.

A current PHTLS provider certificate or wallet card is required.

Upon successfully completing the course, students receive a certificate of completion and 8 hours of CAPCE credit.

ENPC Course uses accurate assessment of a child with an acute illness or injury requires special knowledge and skills. ENA’s two-day Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course is designed to provide the core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to care for pediatric patients in the emergency setting.

THIS IS A VIRTUAL TNCC COURSE.

CURRENT TNCC Provider card Required to take the TNCC Renewal Course. Please email your current TNCC Provider card to info@roxellemt.com 

TNCC Fast Track is an abbreviated version of TNCC, 8th Edition. It was developed for nurses who need to renew their TNCC verification card and are more comfortable with independent study. These students will attend a portion of the didactic instruction and take the same skill station and online exam assessment required for course completion. A four-year verification card is awarded upon successful course completion.
